Cedric Phillip O'Bryant, 66, of Oceanside, CA, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, at Kaiser Hospital. A celebration of life service will take place at Latter Rain Ministries church on March 28, 2026, from 11AM to 1PM.
Born in Los Angeles, California, on July 8, 1959, Cedric graduated from high school and spent 44 years working for the Department of Defense as a GS 9 service writer for SWIFT. Cedric was known for his loyalty and dedication to his family, job, and friends.
Cedric loved cherishing time with his grandkids, bowling, and golfing.
Cedric was preceded in death by his mom, Lucille O'Bryant, and his dad, Reuben O'Bryant Sr.
He is survived by his wife Vinila Jo O'Bryant; his four children: Cedric Jr., Jessica, Nathaniel, and Brendan; his six grandchildren: Aaliyah, Alyssa, Alexander Jr. (Buddy), Aiden, Madison, and Amaya; and his three brothers: Reuben, Joe, Edmond
Cedric will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, unwavering integrity, and love for his family. Cedric was a workaholic; he loved his job very much, spending 44 years working at Camp Pendleton, CA. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.
Family, friends, and SWIFT employees are invited to Latter Rain Ministries church on March 28, 2026, from 11AM to 1PM.
