Remembering those Friday night lights with you by my side, cheering like there was no tomorrow. You always knew how to light up the stands with your beauty and laughter. Miss you, my forever football buddy.

Dear Dawn,

It’s surreal to be saying goodbye. I’ve been trying to process the reality of your absence, struggling between memories of your vibrant presence and the emptiness left behind. Finding the right words to honor a soul as beautiful and timely as yours is a challenge.

LOVE is what I feel most when I think of you. You embodied the essence of this word. Our friendship began with your warm approach, starting a conversation with me during a high school football game, and from there, our bond blossomed. Your joy in simple pleasures, like cheering at football games, made our times together unforgettable. Our dinners, deep conversations, savoring Girl Scout cookies in your car while laughing and forgetting our troubles, and our adventurous walks are among my most cherished memories. Your unique blend of humor and calm made you incredibly special, and I will treasure those moments forever.

Thank you for being there during my high-risk pregnancy, reminding me to trust God, have faith, and believe that everything would work out. Now, I cling to that faith, comforted by the hope that we will see each other again.

Thank you, Dawn—my Sunset—for loving me and my family. I hope you felt the depth of my love for you and yours. Your beautiful family mirrors the beauty you brought into this world. Dailly and Dyllon are bright reflections of your endless shine, and your loving husband, Al, always in awe of you, stands as a testament to your impact.

Prayers for the repose of the soul of Dawn Michelle Davis Mack from the Mazgaj family.

Dawn was a wonderful friend/sister that had a beautiful spirit about her. I have known Dawn since 1977 when my family moved to “Sunnymead” California. She quickly became one of 3 lifelong besties that my younger sister Jackie has. Their 47 year friendship/sisterhood began in the 6th grade and throughout their younger years would rarely see one without the other three. It was a carefree time and the girls were always together. I have many memories of Dawn…  but one of my fondest is celebrating Dawn and Al’s anniversary on NYE.  It was always a great time dancing, laughing but mostly just being together. To this day, the song “Footloose” will be very special to me. I will miss my sister Dawn with all my heart. A Hui Ho Dawn. Rest in Aloha ♥️

I loved you when I first saw you, and I love you more now.  You were the bright star on this earth, that always lit up my life.  I will miss you, but you are now in much better Hands, in a much better place.  I named you "Dawn," but God may change your name to "Bright Morning and Evening Star," or something like that, just as I will remember you while you were here on earth.  I will always love you.

She will always be remembered as a member of the Camp Pendleton Records section team, and I will always cherish the memories we had of searching for the best movies to watch on the weekends.

Hello I'm Carol, I have fond memories of Dawn. Throughout high school and later in life she was always a dear to me and she always made me laugh because she always had to think what I was saying... ( my NY accent). When Mrs Ward was in her final days, I remember her coming to see her and Mrs Ward with her nonstop calling of Dawn to assist her. 
She lived by her rules... her sweet disposition never failed.  I will miss her but I have faith we will see her in Paradise.  May her friends know thats she's merely asleep and soon that God almighty will call her name to wake up.  
My heartfelt condolences to her family and to her beloved mom.
