Debra Denise Chase was born on May 5, 1957 in Washington, D.C. to Rose and Rodger Chase. Debbie was the first of 7 children born to the Chase family. Debbie grew up in Indian Head, Maryland where she was raised. She graduated from Henry E. Lackey High School in 1975 where she was member of the track team. In November 1977, she married a sailor, Jeffrey T. Evans, and began her new life as Debra D. Evans. Living the life of a Navy Wife took her from Indian Head as she accompanied her husband during his many tours of duty. Debbie and Jeffrey began their family in 1980 with the birth of their twin sons, Derrick Thomas and Patrick Lee. Together as a family they lived in Virginia Beach and a tour at Subic Bay in the Philippines. In 1988, Debbie gave birth to their third child, Jeffrey Michael. In 1989 they moved to California in support of Jeffrey’s orders and have lived there since. Debbie worked for 30 years and retired from the U.S. Government in May 2017. She held a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cal State San Marcos. Debbie loved to work in her garden and enjoyed being surrounded with family and especially her first granddaughter Kaia.
