Born September 17, 1956 in South Gate, California to Jovita Raigosa Elias. Attended Graham Elementary School, Gage Jr. High School, South Gate Senior High School, and Los Angeles City College (A.A. in Secretarial Science).
Married Ernesto S. Esparza, April 14, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gave birth to Ernesto S. Esparza Jr. in March 1980, Robert R. Esparza in July 1982, and Michael G. Esparza in March 1984.
During the course of their marriage she has been to Hawaii, New Jersey, Arizona, Wyoming, Virginia, Colorado, Maryland, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Internationally she has traveled with her husband to Ireland, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, France, Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Canada.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, a grandson, and a daughter-in-law.
