RIP Dwight and condolences to family and friends. You are mentioned at the NC A&T State Univ Greatest Homecoming On Earth every year and this year will be no different, except we know where you are now. Aggie Pride!

DD, Rest in Paradise My Brother, It was an honor to serve with you. Thanks for always calling me whenever you got a Homicide in Oxon Hill as you knew I could match every nickname to a real name. You were a great homicide detective/officer but even a better person.

Dwight, my prayers are with you and your family. You were absolutely one of the best Prince George's County Police Officers that I met and worked with during my career on the Police Department. There is a special place in Heaven for you.

"DD" was a pleasure to work with and be around, but more than anything, he was a good person. He will be missed by his friends and colleagues.

Double "D" you enlarged my territory and welcome me into C.I.D. with your friendship. You deposited your investigative skills in me. Our tenure in C.I.D. was a spiritual blessing. Your absence will be surely missed. 🙏

I met Granddaddy DeLoatch in 2012 when my stepmom Cheryl Kearse married my dad James Kearse. I knew he was caring man who always told me to be safe on my motorcycle because of the things he saw in his career of a policy officer. Not too many people will say uplifting positive things about motorcycles but he did. I am sad that I was only able to spend seven short years with him. I will truly miss whim coming down from Hemet,CA to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with us. His favorite dessert I remember him always requesting is peach cobbler. R.I.P. Granddaddy Dwight. You will be truly be missed.

No greater honor will ever be bestowed on an officer, or a more profound duty imposed on him, than when he is entrusted with the investigation of the death of another human being....It was an honor serving with you, may you Rest In Peace Dwight.
