Edward Robert Wood

Born on December 28,1934 to Kathleen and James Wood in Santa Monica, Ca. Ed is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol, their 3 children: Kelle, Chris and Tim and 9 grandchildren: Kylie (20), Braeden(18)Maleia(14), Hudson(13), Zach(13), Olivia(10), Lyla (10), Leo(5)and Eddie(5)

Ed graduated from Saint Monica's High school. Shortly after he attended graduation he attended the Paulist Seminary in Washington D.C. he spent two years in Korea with the US Army and later graduated from Immaculate Heart Seminary at USD. He was a Catholic Priest for 10 Years in the San Diego Diocese. He retired as the Catholic priest in 1976 from St. Francis of Assisi in Vista.

He and Carol began their life together. Ed was a very loving and caring husband. He then became a realtor in Vista for 20+ years. His greatest joy was his wife, his 3 children and grandchildren he was the best husband, father and Papa (Pops). Ed lived a full life always treating those around him with love, compassion and kindness. Ed will be greatly missed and always remembered. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family on June 11,2021.
