Mom & I went to visit Aunt Eleonore back in the early 2000s. It was my first time to CA. I’ll never forget our visit & cherish the quiet time visit we had in the early mornings and afternoons when mom would take a nap, and the little tour of Oceanside. I know she’s in the glorious reunion with her family and my mom Antonie, her younger sister. I will miss our occasional phone calls to each other and plan to go back to Groskarlback someday to pay tribute, lay flowers and reach out.
