ELINOR J. MAHAN
September 2, 1928- April 16, 2016
CARLSBAD – Elinor J. Mahan, 87 yrs of age, passed away
peacefully on April 16th, 2016, after an extended and courageous
battle with Alzheimers disease. Jean, as she preferred to be known,
leaves behind three very proud sons: Peter Richard of Vista, Thomas Myles II
of Westlake Village, and Daniel Christopher of San Marcos. She was
predeceased by her husband, Thomas Myles Mahan, in August of 1996.
Jean was a meticulous homemaker and part-time gardener for many decades.
She was exceedingly happy when interacting with her three adoring
grand-children: Justin , Rebecca, and Katie.
