He is survived by is wife Beverly, his son, Rudy and his wife Susan and their children and grandchildren, his son Randy and his wife Cathy and their children, his daughter Bonnie and her child and grandchildren, his daughter Roxanne and her children and grandchildren and his daughter Robin, her husband Ray and their children, grandchildren and great grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
His friends and family knew him as "Rudy" or "Papa", he was a career marine and fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his wife, his family, the USA, and archery.
On Friday, September 27, 2019, a viewing will be held at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, California, from 4pm - 8pm with a Military Honors Ceremony from the United States Marine Corps beginning at 5pm.
On Saturday, September 28, 2019 A memorial service will be held at the Gloria McClellan Senior Center in Vista, services will begin at 1pm with a reception immediately following.
