Emil Joseph Winters was born on September 2, 1923 in Winnipeg, Canada. He entered into rest on April 28, 2012 in Oceanside, California. Emil came to California in 1952, where he worked for California Edison until meeting Celia Landis in 1974. He lived a full and exciting life with Celia as they traveled. Emil and Celia loved their garden and so did all their friends.
He will be extremely missed as he touched so many lives.
He is survived by wife, Celia Winters, son, Randall Witowski, daughter, Valerie Venn, son, Dallell Witowski, step-daughter, Rosalia Hacker, step-daughter, Marleane Landis, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Eternal Hills Memorial Chapel in Oceanside, California.
