Emma Jarquin Goodwin
December 8, 1939 - February 13, 2015
Emma Jarquin Goodwin was born on December 8, 1939 in Managua, Nicaragua. She grew up in San Jose, Costa Rica, and immigrated to the United States in 1966. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her father Eduardo Jarquin, her mother Emma de Jarquin, and her brother Fernando Jarquin.
Emma is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Goodwin; daughters Maria Elena LeMay (Joseph), Martha Engel (David), and Priscilla Davis; grandsons John, Michael, James (Ludi), and Jacob LeMay, Samuel Engel, granddaughters Hannah Engel and Carleigh Means, and sisters Lillian de Socorro, Maria Rodriguez, Gloria Odio (Ismael), brothers Eduardo Jarquin (Maria Eugenia) and Otto Jarquin (Justina).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at North Coast Church, in Carlsbad, at 9:00 in the morning. A funeral service will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park immediately following her Celebration of Life.
Emma’s final resting place will be Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
