Eva Alvarez, 63, de Oceanside, CA, falleció el Miércoles, 16 de mayo, 2018, rodeada por su familia en el Hospital Palomar de Escondido, CA. Ella nació de los fallecidos Maria Carmen Reyes y Ezequiel Ortiz el primero de marzo, 1955 en Pénjamo, Guanajuato. En noviembre 10, 1975 fue casada con Baltazar Alvarez en Pénjamo, Guanajuato.
Le sobreviven su esposo Baltazar Alvarez; sus hijos Alejandro, Xochitl, Arthur, Steve, y Rogelio; sus nueras y yierno Norma, Eneida, y Jose; sus hermanos Raquel Reyes, Eleazar Ortiz, Hector Ortiz, Amelia Ortiz, Felipe Ortiz y Guillermina Ortiz. También le sobreviven cinco nietos, Carlos, Jasmine, Ruben, Johnathan y Daniel.
Eva emigro a los Estados Unidos en 1981 donde primero vivió en San Jose, CA. Después se mudó al condado de San Diego en 1986 donde se estableció y permaneció por el resto de su vida. Eva trabajó en una variedad de industrias durante su vida, pero más notable en su propio negocio de limpieza de casas.
Eva fue una de las personas más amorosas, afectuosas y respetables que jamás podría usted conocer. Era cariñosa y abnegada en muchas formas. Siempre ponía a los demás primero que ella y siempre hacia lo que podía para ayudar a quien estaba necesitado. Ella era seria y tímida en su comportamiento, pero maternal y amable en todos sus aspectos.
El orgullo y alegría más grande de Eva fueron sus hijos. Eran su grande tesoro y lo que ella considero su mejor y más importante logro. A pesar de las dificultades de la vida, su amor y fortaleza fueron implacables en cuanto a crear a sus hijos a ser personas honorables, afectuosas y amorosas. Siempre apoyó a sus hijos y los alentó a que buscaran la felicidad y el éxito, pero con humildad y sencillez. Su apoyo y amor incondicional han sido la inspiración de sus hijos en todos sus esfuerzos y proyectos. Y por eso, sus hijos están eternamente agradecidos.
Eva adornó nuestro mundo de una forma muy especial. Ella era la mejor mamá, pero también una mujer de gran fe, una abuela cariñosa, una hermana maravillosa, y una amiga leal. Ella es un gran ejemplo de integridad, honor, amor, amabilidad, generosidad, y fortaleza. Eva ilumino nuestras vidas con buenos consejos, momentos felices, abrazos cariñosos y sonrisas reconfortantes. Su fe inquebrantable y su amor sacrificado la convirtieron verdaderamente en una mujer extraordinaria. Damos gracias a Dios por habernos permitido gozar de su presencia todos estos años. Ella permanecerá presente para siempre en nuestros corazones y en nuestros recuerdos.
El funeral se llevará a cabo a las 12:30pm en la Iglesia St. Patrick Catholic Church en Carlsbad. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio Eternal Hills Memorial Park en Oceanside.
Eva Alvarez, 63, of Oceanside, CA, passed away with family by her side at Palomar Hospital in Escondido, CA on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018. She was born March 1st, 1955 in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Maria Carmen Reyes and Ezequiel Ortiz. She married Baltazar Alvarez on November 10th, 1975 in Pénjamo, Guanajuato.
Eva is survived by her husband Baltazar Alvarez; her five children, Alejandro and Norma Alvarez, Xochitl and Jose Barrera, Arthur and Eneida Alvarez, Steve Alvarez, and Rogelio Alvarez; her six siblings Raquel Reyes, Eleazar Ortiz, Hector Ortiz, Amelia Ortiz, Felipe Ortiz, and Guillermina Ortiz; her grandchildren Carlos Alvarez, Jasmine Barrera, Ruben Alvarez, Johnathan Alvarez, and Daniel Alvarez.
Eva immigrated to the United States in 1981 and first resided in San Jose, CA. She later moved to the San Diego County area in 1986 and established roots where she would reside for the remainder of her life. Eva worked in a variety of industries and jobs throughout her life, most notably running her own home cleaning business in the North County area.
Eva was one of the most loving, caring, and upstanding people you will ever meet. She was warm and selfless in so many ways. She always put others before herself and would go out of her way to lend a helping hand. She was serious and shy in her demeanor but motherly and kind in all her ways.
Eva’s biggest pride and joy were her children. They were her biggest treasure and what she considered her biggest and most important accomplishment. Her love and strength was relentless when it came to raising them to be honorable, caring, and loving individuals. She always encouraged them to seek happiness and success while being humble and kind. Her support and unconditional love have been the guiding force in all their endeavors and for that, they are forever grateful.
Eva impacted many lives in a very special way. She was the best mom, but also a woman of great faith, a loving grandmother, wonderful sister, and loyal friend. She is a great example of integrity, honor, love, kindness, generosity, strength and fortitude. Eva filled our lives with great advice, happy moments, loving hugs, and heartwarming smiles. Her unwavering faith and sacrificial love truly made her an extraordinary woman. We thank God for having allowed us to have her in our lives through the years. She remains forever alive in our hearts and in our memories.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25th, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlsbad at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
