Flo lived a long and rich life. She was born in Honolulu, HI on January 10, 1925 🤔 (according to her birth certificate). For the first 30 years of her life, she lived in Hawaii—- and besides the island of Oahu, had adventures on the islands of Kauai, Maui, and Big Island. She lived the next 19 years, in Los Angeles, CA before moving with her beloved husband Roger G. Carr, to Vista, CA where she spent the last 48 years of her life. She loved gardening and cooking for her family
In addition to the many friends she made during the 42 years she worked for Sargent Ind/Stillman Seal Division in Culver City and Carlsbad, after retiring Flo continued to make friends through her volunteer activities at the Vista Senior Center. For Christmas 2021, she insisted on sending Christmas cards to her list of family and friends. Stubborn and fiercely independent, generous and caring, she loved and was loved by many.
