

Born on November 18, 1961, to Salomon and Eloise Jimenez, Frank grew up in the community he cherished. After graduating from Oceanside High School in 1980, He embarked on a lifetime of service completing 20 years in the United States Air Force, followed by 25 years with the California Department of Corrections until his retirement in 2021. His dedication, discipline, and integrity were hallmarks of both his professional life and his character.
Frank married the love of his life, Juanita on June 4, 1983 at Mission San Luis Rey. Together, they shared 43 years of devotion, partnership, and adventure. Frank embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in traveling, bike riding, camping, kayaking, beachside cruises, concerts, and comedy shows. His favorite stories were the ones rooted in time spent with his wife and children, especially their many family trips and camping adventures.
Frank is survived by his belovedJuanita, their four children and spouses:Reina & Oscar Secaida, Frankie & Nicole Jimenez, Alejandra & Steven Vandereb, and Irene & Derek Romero. He was a proud grandfather to11 grandchildren: Anissa, Sariah, Kayden, Kiera, Adriel, Nalani, Troy, Xiomara, Ezekiel, Isa, and Frankie. Each of whom brought him immense joy.
A Rosary prayer will be held at Eternal Hills July 8, 2026 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral Mass will follow on the morning of July 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the historic Mission San Luis Rey. All who knew and loved Frank are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
Frank lived a life defined by service, adventure, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will continue in the stories he shared, the values he instilled, and the countless lives he touched.
