I first met Frank at Oceanside High back in 1979. We both enjoyed working on our cars back then—Frank with his first car a Riviera and me with my Ford Galaxie. He was the one who taught me how to bodysurf out at Ponto Beach in Carlsbad.  In the evenings, we would head over to Kelly Park or Poinsettia Park to play basketball, taking on anyone who wanted to challenge us.
Frank had a deep love for Santana and War, and we both shared a passion for the oldies. I’ll never forget installing our first 8-track players with those flashing equalizer lights and power booster.
For the younger generation reading this—trust me, that was the absolute best!  At least until the cassette player came out, and we did it all over again.
In 1981, when my girlfriend Liz and I set our wedding date, there was no one else I wanted by my side. Frank agreed to be my Best Man.  As the years went on, Liz and I were blessed again when Frank and Juanita asked us to be Godparents to their son, Frank Jr. an honor we remain deeply grateful for to this day.
When Frank enlisted in the Air Force, he served our country proudly for 20 years, later transitioning to a 25-year career as a Correctional Officer until his retirement.  Because of our paths, we didn’t see each other as much, but we always kept in touch over the phone.  Frank and Juanita raised four wonderful children, and seeing them follow in their father’s military footsteps makes me incredibly proud.
To the Jimenez family: I know there will be times when you desperately wish you could see or talk to Frank.
Just remember he is resting safely in the embracing arms of our Lord and Savior.  Find a place that brings you peace, look up, and speak to him. He will hear you.  As you go on in life, you will find days when the smallest things remind you of your loving husband and father.
To my friend Frank: Thank you for being a great friend and for your dedicated service to our country. Our Lord says, “Well done, good and faithful servant."

I went to school with Frank since Jr high school. He was a cool guy. I always got along well with him. He was a good friend.

Thank you, Frank, for taking us camping on the beach in Oceanside, showing us all the beautiful sites, the cool, donut shop, Tom Cruise house from top gun was awesome!  Memories that  will last  a lifetime.

Today we say goodbye to my cousin Frank . we'll always hold onto the memories that made him so special. He had such a happy, funny personality that could make anyone smile. I will always remember our conversations about music.
Thank you Frank, for celebrating my birthday with me at the swap meet and spending Father’s Day weekend at the beach my family had a great time. All the good times we shared over the years. Those memories will always have a special place in my heart.
You may be gone, but your laughter, your kindness, and the joy you brought to our family will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, cousin.
You will always be loved and deeply missed.

We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary together at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse in Hawaii. 
Frank loved to tell stories and also ask about what was going on in my life. He was always asking me how my knees felt and was it getting better or worse? Or when are we going to the swap meet or camping again. At picture time he would brush down his handlebar mustache with his fingers and put on a serious face but that was Franks way of showing strength. You will be missed my brother and may God bless your family.

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family. We have shared a lot of good times together to include, a Dodger game, camping, concerts, parties, the “LA” swap meet, a road trip up north or just hanging out together. All great memories of our friendship and good times we had together.
