Entered into life on September 19, 1919 and entered into rest on August 30, 2011. She was a resident of Oceanside for the past 33 years and San Diego County for 40 years. She married and raised two daughters and two sons. She loved to travel and visited most of the 50 United States..
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Shade Robert Hunley and Robert Baughman, daughter Saundra Hunley, sister Florene Hobson, and brother Raymond Stafford. Gerie is survived by her daughter Beverly Hunley, and sons Steven Hunley and Michael Hunley, her sister Juanita Low, four grand children, Kelly Karner, Kami Jackson, Kristi Morris and Shaun Hunley,
seven great-grand children, Taylor Hunley,Hannah Schram, Regan Morris, Andrew Morris, Maddie Jackson, Bailee Jackson, and Laney Hunley.
Gerie was a strong and independent woman with a sincere concern for others. Her home was always open to the extended family. She will be greatly missed.
