This pain that you are enduring is difficult but with time you will feel better. Crying is normal and natural it helps with release dont hold it in. He may be physically gone but his spirit and his memory will live in you forever and no one can take that away from you. I did not know him but I know he loved you and he would not want you to be unhappy every day wishing he was still there. He would want you to continue living and be happy in whatever you do. You are not alone we are here to help you and Alicia get through this tough time always and always. Here is a poem that I think you should read:If tears could build a stairway

Another day I had dreams about you last night, you were as cute as always!  Left with memories and I guess that I just have to enjoy what I can get. All our dreams of being able to grow old together are gone, but I have faith that one day you will be putting your hand out to me and once that happens I will never let go baby because no matter how hard this has been and at time I get mad because I just can't realize that this dream is not true. But I love you and hoping you are at peace and no more headaches. Love you with every part of my heart and believe my life has changed because being alone at night made me understand we were just meant for each other to comfort and say "I love you" before we went to sleep. Love your wife forever~~

My dad Chago always loved listening to the Beatles with us and always told us how the Beatles were him and Tio Gilberto's favorite. I will forever think of him when I hear their music! May he rest in peace...he will forever live in our hearts and memories!

Berto, you were truly a good man.  You were a terrific dad and the most loving grandpa that Sienna and Nadia could ever dream of having. Most of all you were a wonderful husband.  Thank you for making my sister so happy all these years.  We promise you that we will be there for your family and give them  all the love and support they need. We will miss you dearly but you will always be in our hearts.

Remember that friends and family are there to support you.

May the warm, funny and cherished memories comfort you all at this difficult time. Leon and I are there for you.. please remember that.

Bert...as I always called him will be so missed by many. He was such a kind soul and was saving the earth with the way he cared about the environment and animals. You were such a wonderful husband, father and the BEST grandpa Sienna and Nadia could have ever asked for. You will truly be missed and I know you will be keeping an eye on D, Alicia and the girls.

Berto, everyone is tellling me it's going to get better, I can't believe this,! You have been my soulmate since we started going together. I can remember that day so well, you walking up to your car and telling me you got a car and I was so excited to see it and from there on we were non-separable. Now I wake up each morning thinking you are beside me, and I have to get up and realize I'm all alone. We always said we would grow old together, holding hands, and just saying "I love you" before I left for work.  I know you are at peace and in to pain, but I just miss you so much and I have to be strong for our daughter and granddaughters. But it's hard honey, cause you truly treated me like a Queen and I wish I could of let you know how much I appreciated and I know you know how much I loved you. That is something noone can take away from us, we truly loved each other and each day I will tell you over and over and listen to me and give me a sign you hear me.
