Helen Louise Hoskins

Helen was raised in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. She studied at Tennessee State University in Nashville, where she majored in Business.

On August 28th, 1955 Helen married Arthur Edward Hoskins. During their marriage they had three daughters. Paula Renee Lindsey, Carol Elizabeth Beach & Michelle Carey Bylenga. Together with their daughters, they lived in a number of places. Due to the nature of Arthur's employment, the family moved frequently. North Carolina, Washington, D.C. Missouri, and Hawaii. But, eventually Helen and Arthur settled in Oceanside, California.

After more than a decade of studying the Bible, Helen was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses at the "Peace On Earth" International Convention in Los Angeles, on July 13, 1969. Helen had a deep Love for God and LOVED reading the Bible and sharing what she learned with others.

After raising her children, Helen returned to school, receiving her certification as a nursing assistant. She was employed the longest as a private duty caregiver.

As the years went by Helen was blessed with Five Grandchildren she loved dearly. Alexander Beach, Nicholas Beach, Nolan Bylenga, Helen Bylenga and Case Bylenga.

Helen was predeceased by Her Youngest daughter Michelle Carey Bylenga and her 5 siblings Margie, William, Dorothy, James, and Larry. Helen is survived by her husband Arthur Edward Hoskins of nearly 71 years and two daughters Carol Elizabeth & Paula Renee

HELEN Our Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister & Friend is missed dearly. But, most of all missed by her creator, who can't wait to restore her to her family and friends.

A committal service for Helen will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Mortuary and Crematory, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054.
