Jeanne was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 6th 1949. In 1971 she traveled cross-country to sunny San Diego, where she would ultimately settle and call home for many years.
Jeanne spent over 40 years with the San Diego County Probation Department as a Volunteers in Probation Coordinator, organizing and planning numerous volunteer and charity events as well as award banquets for the organization. In addition to her hard work for the county of San Diego, Jeanne was a loving aunt to her three nieces and spent many of her weekends with them, accompanying them on outings to the Zoo, picnics in the park and hosting numerous crafting days for them to enjoy. Jeanne was not only an amazing aunt but a wonderful crafter and her beautiful Christmas Ornaments were a highlight each year.
Jeanne is survived by her nieces, Kristen McCarthy, Michelle Tuba and Jennifer Tuba; her sister-in-law, Carrie Tuba; and dear cousins, family and friends.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Gus Tuba; as well as her brothers, William and Thomas Tuba.
