I just this week learned, from a mutual friend in Poland, the terribly sad news of Jerzy's fatal motorbike accident on Oct 31,2012. My heart goes out to Jerzy's wife Margareta and to their family and friends.
 May the memory of all the good times you shared with Jerzy help to ease the pain of his loss.
I have warm memories of meeting Jerzy at Peptide meetings in Europe,in his native Poland and here in the United States and visiting with him in San Diego a numer of times before he retired from Ferring. I was  most impressed by the marvellous job he did at Ferring and by his genuine warm and friendly personality.
 Jerzy  will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.
 My wife Carmel joins me in sending our deepest sympathy.You are very much in our thoughts and prayers .
