Joseph was preceded in death by his brother James, his parents, his son Patrick Sean Ogilvie
His daughter Donnalee Root and his beloved wife Donna Mae Ogilvie.
Joseph served His country honorably in the United States Navy as a submariner as an electronic warfare instructor.
Joseph proudly served in Africa and Hawaii. He volunteered after retirement by serving as an official with US Swimming association, The boy scouts of America and young people of America. Joseph also served as an election and several other political organizations.
Joseph earned a Bachelor of Arts, in early English history from San Jose State with honors.
Joseph is survived by His daughter Julia Lauron (Alberto) of San Jose, CA, Son Cary Vincent Ogilvie (Helen), Topeka, KS, on Norman Ogilvie, Carlsbad, CA, Daughter Valerie (Michael), Las Cruces, NM. He also has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He is loved and admired by many and will be missed by ALL who loved him.
