Juanita Romero Repin

Jenny Rogelio Romero was born on May 20, 1929. First born to Josephina Rogelio and Antonio Romero. Jenny was sister to Fidencio Romero, who proceeded her in death on January 25, 2019, Katie Delgado, Pete Granillo, Mary Lou Baca, and Samuel Granillo Jr.

Jenny became known as Juanita in elementary school and was known as Juanita all her life.

Juanita worked at Camp Pendelton in a dry-cleaning company on base. She met and married Alvin Repin, an Alaskan Native and a Marine from Camp Pendelton.

Juanita had five daughters; Elaine Marie, who left to be with her Lord June 9, 2013, Eileen May, who lives in Valley Center, California; Elizabeth Mary, who lives in Stayton, Oregon; Josephine Lucille, who lives in Oceanside, California; and Ann Louise, who lives in Pueblo, Colorado.

Juanita was blessed with 19 grandchildren, her youngest grandson, David Velasquez, left to be with his Lord May 24, 2020. Juanita was also blessed to see 43 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Juanita was a stay-at-home mom and loved being home taking care of her children. When she had to work to support herself and her daughters, she was determined to do whatever she could to provide. She was employed by Teledyne Kinetics in Solana Beach and rarely missed work. She was a strong, independent woman and a good example of a mother. Her love for God and faith in Christ got her through the hard times, always Thanking God for His provision and protection.

Juanita, our Mother went to her Heavenly home on October 28, 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She is greatly missed by all who love her.
