

Kathleen Joyce Hoffman was born on May 16,1947 and raised in Anaheim, California. She passed away on February 17, 2018, at her home in Oceanside, California with her husband at her side. Kathleen moved with her family to the Fallbrook, California area where she attended and graduated from Fallbrook Union High School. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Fallbrook, California, and was active in the youth group with various activities (she was a lead actor in the play, "It's Cold in Them Thar Hills" at a
Lutheran youth group play competition in Fullerton, California.) She was a school bus driver and driver trainer-Instructor for the school district. Later, she worked in Tri City Hospital Behavioral Health in admitting and discharge. She loved the people there and the job she had. Her hobbies included quilting and sewing, collecting antiques (especially antique cats). She enjoyed bike riding and being wined and dined. She adored her cats and dog. Kathleen loved and cherished her husband, John and her sons Larry Allan and Todd Kathleen's parents, Adolph and Betty Westerhold and her brother, Jerry Westerhold preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband John Hoffman; sons, Larry Allan Harvey and Todd (Carol) Harvey and three grand-daughters; her sister Teresa (Verlin) Grossman and brother Fred (Sheryl) Westerhold.
