After I became friends with Kenny it wasn't long before Wes came along, and we all became best friends.  There wasn't many high school nights they weren't over. The three of us would play Halo, and sometimes we made room for guitar hero.  They both would make me sing.  At night the 3 us would walk to the park, and just lay on the grass at the elementary school.  I have  a huge fear of zombies, and they both decided they needed to have a laugh one night, so they started to limp and moan like the undead.  I ran around until I realized I could jump a fence and they couldn't.  So the rest of the night was spend with me on one side of the fence and them on the other.

This was a fun day.  Probably up there with the best days of our friendship. Me, kenny and Daniel went to play some paintball. Kenny was so excited that we had showed up, but the thought missing it never crossed my mind. We layed waste to some little kids, we did our best armyman  impressions taking cover and signalling each other to move up or where the other team was. He loved to compete and paintball was no different. We went to the speedball course and Kenny stayed back and anchored out some cover fire for us to move up and get annihilated. Lol the picture is from end of the day parking lot spoils. We stood out there for about an hour just talking.

I already knew Kenny in some way.  I was in band and he played football.  Most of all Kenny was a very confident person on campus. It wasn't till my sophomore year when I first was introduced to him.  He was brought along to watch a movie at the Krikorian Theatre in Buena Park with a group of friends from Savanna High.  After the movie we all walked to Carl's for food.  At that point in my life I don't think I had ever laughed as hard as I did outside of that Carl's.  Kenny became a regular in my life after that, and he eventually became my best friend over the next few years.

This is Kenyun's last image in life.  He loved hard and just wanted to be loved in return. He gave so much of himself. So much time to help his family, a year stolen from him from a faulty legal system, hours incalculable studying and working to be something better for himself and for his family. The man deserved more time than he got and I truly hope they actually need him up there more than us. Rest in Power, my brother. You were loved. 

I played football with Kenny at Savanna High school, he was a funny guy man, lol always had jokes.  He used to call me cousin skeeter hahaha I used to tease him about his weight but he was like a big homie to me. We hung around the same people, Wes was his best friend and I was friends with wes brother nick so I spent a lot of time with Kenny up at the house going body blows and hella roasting sessions. He was a good man, who will be missed greatly. RIP Kenny 

This is me and Kenny and our good friend, Zucc. I invited the guys out to go shooting in the desert. Someone set off a what sounded like a bomb so we did some offroading to go find it. Never found it, but we had a good time driving. Love you big dawg.

This is me and kenny in Vegas. I had a tattoo appt I set up there and I asked him to come with me. He was so excited. We talked about it a lot in the next few weeks. We get up there and check in and then do some gambling. I fell asleep but Kenny went out chillin. I woke up the next morning and we went to Dennys then I did my tattoo. Then we went out on the town a bit. Had fantastic steaks at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Paris casino. Super fun walk. He wanted to go to the haunted museum they have in town too, but they weren't taking walk-ins that day. I always wanted to get him back there. We ended up at the Hershey store for this picture and chocolate shakes. The m and m store for candy and the coke store for root beer. It was a dope little break.

In the short time Kenny has been gone already he has been greatly missed. It is still hard to believe he is 
gone.  Not seeing Kenny sitting on the opposite side of the couch in the garage next to my son Wes as I come home from work has been odd. Kenny would always say grammy how was work, and i would say aah! Long, he would grin and smile. The last several years Kenny has been coming to our house for Christmas and Thanksgiving to spend time with us. I always knew what i was going to get Kenny for Christmas, and that was Los Angeles Rams trinkets. We had that in common. Kenny loved his Rams and so do i. We were looking forward to going to the new So-Fi stadium to see them play this year. He said for sure we would go.  He loved wearing his jersey on game day.  My son Wes loved having Kenny over to visit, play video games and eat pizza, oh yeah and to do his laundry.  Lol. Kenny always enjoyed coming over. There were countless days I would hear my son laughing in the garage, I would go out there and i would ask who are you talking to he would say Kenny.  He made my son laugh, which made me happy. Many times Wes in our garage, Nick my other son in Florida, and Kenny at his house, they loved to spend hours playing video games and just laughing. I was so proud of Kenny continuing his education, he was so happy that he was going to be getting his next degree. I am so glad Kenny will be getting his Bachelors degree, he would be so happy. He worked hard on his schooling as my son said he was proud he was the first in his family to get a degree in college. I know he is already putting his degree to good use helping others above. My prayers and thoughts are with Kenny's mother and other family members in their time of sorrow. May they feel comfort from the Lord above.

The first memory that I'm pulling from  my brain  is one of his competitiveness. He spent all of his High school career playing football. He was strong and he was faster than youd expect. I challenged him to a 100 yd dash on the football field after school one day. He accepted and we met on the field he ran so often in practice. We started the race and a few yards in, the big man took a tumble. I thought I had it in the bag. Didn't even look back. Next thing I know, Kenny was flying by me. He had gotten up and made up (small) distance that I was able to get ahead. He won by a mile. We laughed about it till this day.
