Kevin Hall was a great man I had the pleasure of working with at LMS. He made being a strong, Black, educated, professional, and God-fearing man look so easy. I always admired him for the way he loved students, held boundaries, and put his heart into teaching. I even learned a lot myself while in his class assisting students. He always greeted me and took the time to ask how I was and share a little bit of his life with me. He loved his children and wife and would talk of them often. He also loved his community and would always tell me about what he was doing next. I’m so saddened by the news of his passing. He is a great man gone way too soon, but he is now in the hands of the most high. To his family, friends, and anyone else affected by his passing, I pray for the Lord to wrap His loving arms around you during this time of need. May He offer His comforting embrace.

Two weeks before Kevin passed into the Lord's loving arms I asked him how he had met Maleata. He told me about how they had met in New York while in different grad schools. He took her to a Disney store that he knew about there when Maleata said she liked Mickey Mouse (or is it Minnie?). Sounds so sweet!
