He relocated to Palos Verdes, CA where he resided for thirty years. He was a partner in a successful business, where his architectural skills, amiable personality, and unfailing integrity earned the respect of
anyone who had the privilege of working with him.
Larry retired to the community of Ocean Hills Country Club in Oceanside, CA, where, in addition to his love of cars and football (go Buckeyes!), he discovered his love of woodworking. He spent countless hours down at the community woodshop happily making toys for the Christmas toy drive for Camp Pendleton families.
Larry was a compassionate, humble and generous man who believed in helping others. He loved life and loved his family.
Larry was predeceased by his wife, DeeDee, in 2003 and son, Shawn, in 2013. He is survived by his son, Kevin, and daughter-in-law, Shelly, of Vista, CA; daughter-in-law, Meg, of Kettering, OH; sister-in-law, Brenda, and her husband, Dale Fent, of Mansfield, TX; and five grandchildren. Larry is also survived by his sweetheart, travel companion, partner in all things adventurous, and loving caretaker of nearly eleven years, Lois Webster, of Oceanside, CA.
