Laura I. Mendoza

Laura was known for staying home and bringing up her children, in addition to enjoying the outdoors, she loved fishing, bowling, church and prayers and most important, she was a loving person and loved by all. Her pastime also included bingo at Mission San Luis Rey. Laura enjoyed being with family and proud knowing there were six generations, trying to remember names of 52 grandchildren, 36 great grand children and 9 great great grand children.

She is survived by her sons; Arthur Lee Batey of Orange, Texas, Rudy Mendoza of Rockport, Texas and Rosendo Mendoza of Rockport, Texas and Daughters; Rhenia Davis of Oceanside, California, Agnes Denouden of Vista, California, Bernadette Denouden of San Diego, California, and Olga Denouden of Texas.

She is proceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo Mendoza, two sisters and six brothers. Laura was the last family member of the Ferraz Family.

Her contributions were assisting Veterans that were hospitalized.

Rosary to be held at St Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 609 Pier View Way, Oceanside, California on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:30 pm followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm.
