What a wonderful person and what a wonderful life. She had a loving family in Angelica, New York and then made a loving family of her own, married to Irvin Mann Weiss for 63 years. She had a rewarding career as a librarian in the state of Michigan and then a second career in her semi-retirement owning and managing three used bookstores in San Diego and Orange Counties. Laura retired in her mid-70’s and avidly took up puzzling, completing thousands of word and jigsaw puzzles. Laura volunteered for the Camp Pendleton Libraries. She is survived by one daughter in California, two sons in Michigan and one son in Oregon, three granddaughters, three grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She also was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Oceanside.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
