Buddy was a constant part of my life. His good nature was always apparent. We will miss him dearly. Many happy times together. Thanksgiving family dinners were always made special when Joyce and Buddy came to town. Love you forever Buddy and will miss you dearly.

Dear Joyce, Chris and Family:
I was so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. However, I am sure he is in a better place. Such memories - from your wedding, our family friendship and then ten years of working with Lee. I am glad we shared those times. He will be missed.

God bless you all!

Dear Joyce and Chris,
Lee was a major part of our industrial life for several decades. Although Lee was technically our competitor, we never felt that he was really anything but our friend. Many lunches and meetings over decades meant that we were primarily friends and business was a small part of our relationship.

Dear Joyce and Chris, I was Mayor's Assistant to Leland when he was Mayor in Burbank. We worked together for one exciting year, when what was to become Bob Hope Airport was being formed. I remember him with great fondness. I appreciate so much that Joyce and Lee came to my Dad's service ( Robert Shanks) in Burbank in 1990, and wish I could attend Lee's. I've worked with many Mayor's over the course of my career in city government, but never one with Lee's passion, leadership, and legacy. He was the best. Dear Joyce and Chris,
I was very saddened to hear of Lee's passing.
Lee was a great teacher and motivator, helping and guiding so many young people to reach their full potential.
The wonderful memories of our times together will always occupy a special place in my heart.
God bless you and yours in this time of sorrow.

Dear Joyce and Chris:

Lee was one of the most important men in my life, and I have never stopped thinking of him on a daily basis. He was one of the most honorable men I've ever known, one whose handshake was emblematic of his word.

I share in your sadness at this time, and offer my condolences for the loss of one so loved and respected by so many. You're all in my prayers, and dear to my heart.

Lee was a good friend. The City of Burbank is a much better place thanks to his hard work and tireless efforts to make it a better community. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Joyce and Chris,
We were saddened to hear about Lee. He will be remembered by so many people for his kindness , generosity, sense of humor, giving spirit, business sense and ability to make everyone feel important. As Lee journeyed through this life he made an impression everywhere he went. Johnny has mentioned on numerous occasions that Lee was his own personal real life Professor as Johnny learned more about Sales from Lee than he ever did from any other individual or company in his 30 year career. He has never forgotten that. He had a giving, loving spirit and was truly genuine. He loved life and his passion showed. He is up in Heaven smiling down at all of us us. He was our Boss, Friend, Mentor and truly a man we will always be proud to say we were fortunate enough to know. Our love is with you and your family now and in the future...
