First, my condolences to all of Lou's family. Of the people I've known, he's arguably at the top of the list for sharing just how much he loved all of you. 

I had the pleasure of working with Lou for close to eight years at Jenny Craig. It was hard to have a bad day at the office if Lou was there. He was always good for a general chat or to offer solid career advice, much of which I still utilize. 

I got to travel with Lou to Michigan to relocate a Jenny Craig centre in 2002, and as we climbed into the rental car at the Kalamazoo airport I found a strange tool sitting on the passenger side floor, held it up and asked, "What's this?" Lou chuckled and told me it was an ice scraper, something this SoCal kid didn't even know existed.  

I also remember Lou joyfully telling the story of offering Austin some oil ("oya") soup after he'd done an oil change, and was delighted to see a photo of the event among the memories posted here.

Rest in peace, Lou. Thanks for being you. 

May you Rest In Peace uncle Lou ….. I will always cherish our phone calls and the time we had. Many have called you Sir, but I have been even more honored to call you “Uncle”


Louis.....always the Cream of the Crop.....too many superlatives to mention......from a wonderful family in Somerville...Anita always at his side.....created a wonderful life for all his family...someone to be very proud of and glad to have known..  Julie Holmes-Wilson....
