Dear Uncle Dan, Aunt Joanne, Brian, Eric, and Nathan,
I fondly remember all of the summers in Michigan our families shared together. I always felt that Lydia was a kind, compassionate, loving big sister and daughter. She was a natural nurturer and teacher and pretty skillful in home remodeling projects. I am very grateful to the Budny family for being my home away from home during college. When I met Lydia Jo as a toddler, I could already see light, laughter, joy, and curiosity. I am so happy that she became a gymnastics coach and was mentoring her passion for sports. I am so grateful she touched all of our lives.
Love,
Jeanne, Mike, Justin, Ethan, and Sophie

Lydia was such a beautiful person inside and out. She was such a loyal friend and always there if you needed something. One thing that I admired most about her was how handy she was! That girl could handle a hammer and drill like nobody’s business. Such a hard loss for all of us, but God’s gain. I know she will be another angel looking over all of us. ❤️
