Marco Antonio Sainz Jr.

Hello everyone, my name is Susan a longtime family friend of my Familia Sainz and Valerie. Thank you to everyone for being here today to pay tribute to Marco Antonio Sainz Jr. I cannot put into words the grief that our families are feeling. The love and support that Tony and Valerie have received from all of our friends and family has helped significantly in getting everyone through this difficult time. We thank you so much.

Marco Antonio Sainz Jr. was born on July 20, 2008. When I first saw Tony and Valerie hold their son I knew there wasn’t anything they would do for him. He was an angel and a beautiful gift from heaven that would light up any room with his smile, man those dimples. He was the oldest sibling, the big brother that loved all of his sisters with all of his heart. Marco was shy at first but once you got to know him his sense of humor was out of the world. His character demonstrated such strength, courage and even more love for life. The love he had inside was so great it showed through his spirit to be strong and keep fighting. He was so beautiful a true genuine little human being; it’s been an honor having you in my life little man.

I remember…… (I will share a few memories of Marcitos)

Tony I’ve known you since you were about 2 years old. I have watched you grow up to be such a courageous, strong, caring, loving father that holds no limits to what you will do for your children. I want you to know how proud I am of you, how proud we all are of you. You have never lost sight of how true your love is for Marco and you’ve showed us a great example of what a father truly is. Thank you for showing us how strong love can really be. You are and will always be Marco’s #1 Super Hero…his Daddy. Marcitos is smiling at you right now saying” Yup that’s my Dad!”

Valerie, I have known you since you were about 14 years old, I’ve known you to be a loving and caring strong mom. Thank you Valerie for bringing Marco into this world, he has touched the lives of so many. Marcitos is smiling at you right now saying “I love you so much mom!”

I’d like to thank God for blessing us with Marcitos for the time we had with him, in time we will rejoice knowing he is home with you Father. It’s been a long day without you my friend and I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again, we’ve come a long way from where we began and I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again. You will be forever in our hearts, you will live through us in everything we do, we love you Marcitos!
