Mark was the nicest person I have ever met. I've known him for about 20 years and will miss him very much.

Mark was really a part of our company.  He and his team did all of our smaller print jobs for 35 + years.  His deep, booming voice, his pseudo grumpiness when he had to print role plays for us and deliver them.  He got two speeding tickets coming to our office which he liked to remind us of.  He was a wonderful, big-hearted man and we are indeed missing him a lot.  We can't believe he's gone.  We love you Mark!

To Marks family, my deepest sympathies. He was a great neighbor and community asset but above all a great, great GOOD man. I'm sure he is happier now than he ever was on this earth.  I met him in 1970 when he became a customer of the company I worked for. Although I didn't see him on a social basis I always considered him a good friend. He always remembered me even after long absences of seeing him. And I will never forget him. He always had the BIG smile shown with this guest book and a hearty welcome when I entered his store. He gave me an expensive ink pen with my name inscribed the first Christmas after I met him which I still have and use frequently.  I always remember the day he gave it to me and think of him fondly anytime I use it. Old  friend you will be missed but I'm happy for you now that this ratrace is over for you. Mark was a wonderful neighbor and did so much for the community, especially our schools. He will be dearly missed.

I am so very sad to hear this news. I feel a void inside me,  and  a gap in our Encinitas community. Mark created a business where I could always walk in and have a better day because of him, and the wonderful people he always had around him. He was always warm and great fun to tease. His was the kind of gruffness you could trust.  Encinitas and 2nd Street will never be the same without Mark and all he created. My sympathies to his family and those who worked so loyally by his side.

Well, Mark, you have moved along to a place where you can now watch over us all...just as you did here on Earth.  I never walked into your store without your asking how I was doing..."How did that ... go?"  "When are you going to get me those photos so we can get your calendar out?" Mark...is this the paper I buy? "Yes, Joanne."  He showed his interest.  He knew what was going on in my life and always took care of whatever I needed..and sometimes told me what HE thought I needed :o)  In losing him, I feel a void that will not be filled.  Heaven has just gained another angel !!

 I will miss out talks and lectures ;) you were always there for us no matter what! We miss you tons and promise to keep striving forward! Thank you for your friendship and guidance...I'm sure going to miss that most! To Marks family and friends my deepest condolences to you all...

Mark, will be missed had the pleasure of knowing him for over 20 years. My father has been his gardener and friend for that long. Great sense of humor. You will be missed.

I think Mark was the best business owner over the years in Encinitas. He knew everybody. When you were in a time crunch for a print job he always squeezed you in. What a great loving man. You will be missed Mark! Rest in Peace. My prayers go out to your family as they grieve for their loss.

Mark was a great guy and wonderful person. He was a customer of mine for 6 years, but he was more than a customer, he was a friend. Encinitas lost a great voice of integrity. He will be missed. Happy travels, my friend.

Mark and I were fast friends through high school, hung out alot, did some fishing on Lake Hodges, were in ROTC Cadet Corp. Enjoyed Mark's friendship, have thought of him often over the years, some regret for not maintaining in touch, seems like many of us wait until too late, as in my case.
