daughter of Earlie and Arlene (Ellis) Carroll. Martha was the oldest of three children.
She had one sister Wilhemina McCarthy, and one brother Earlie Overton Carroll Jr.
Both preceded her in death.
She was loved and will be missed by her family who survives her:

Ten Grandchildren, Fifteen Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
Three husbands, Edward Lee Campbell, Edward Yama and Ed J. Watts. All preceded
her in death.
Martha spent her childhood and early adulthood in North Carolina. In the mid 1960’s
she moved to California with her family and worked for the Marine Corps Exchange,
Camp Pendleton, as a sales associate later being promoted to a buyer. She attended
Mira Costa College and received her Associate Degree. She was a member of
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oceanside.
Later in her retirement years she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Where she
spent many happy years, and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Martha
enjoyed reading, fly fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Martha will be remembered for her love of family and her strong influence as the
matriarch of our family.
We rejoice with her that she won the victory and is now with our Lord. We can shout
with the Apostle Paul: “Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord,
Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57

victory in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
