Mary Lena Corapi

May 28, 1922 – December 27, 2013

Mary Rossi was born in Union Bridge Maryland on May 28, 1922. She was the eldest girl in a family of 5 children. Her mother passed away when she was only 9 and after a few years she left school to take care of the family. After all of the other children were grown she went off to Eastern Bible Institute. There she met Joseph Corapi and they married on May 30 1947. They had 2 children Ron and MaryAnn.

She was a loving wife and mother, always doing everything she could for her family. She was very active in her church, but always behind the scene. She worked in retail sales for Sears until she retired.

Soon after retiring Joe and Mary moved to Oceanside California and spent many happy hours with their grandson John going on adventures.

She survived by her brother Ermand Rossi, sisters, Amelia Shull and Anne Blake. Children, Ron Corapi and MaryAnn Calvanico .daughter-in-law, Kim Corapi. Grandchildren John Calvanico and wife Angela, Shaun Meyers, Joe Corapi and Sarah Corapi. And great grandchildren, Leilah, Silas and Micah Calvanico

She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, but most of all a child of God. She loved God with all her heart and dedicated her life to her family.

We will miss you so much but know that we will all be together again in Heaven. Save a seat for us.
