Mary Ann Parrott

DIED: September 17, 2015

Mary Ann Kimball Parrott passed away at the age of 75 on

Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Oceanside, California at

Tri-City Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born February 25, 1940 in Anita, Iowa to

Alice and Cloyd Kimball. The family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada

in December 1944. Mary Ann graduated from Rancho High School

in 1958. While living in Las Vegas she met and married Don Parrott on

May 31, 1961. Don was transferred with the Marine Corps to Camp Pendleton

in Oceanside, California in 1961. They have been residents of Oceanside for

54 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alice Kimball Horn and Cloyd

Kimball and brother Wayne DeSherlia. She is survived by her husband Don;

daughter Kathryn Parrott; sons Chris Parrott (Ana); Steven Parrott (Betty)

all of Oceanside and sons Mark Parrott of Peoria, Arizona (Diana) ;daughter-in-law

Joanna of Lake Elsinore and Mike Parrott (Charlotte) of Idaho Falls, Idaho;

Brothers Myron Kimball (Ellen) and Larry Kimball (Mary) of Reno, Nevada. She

had 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was a member of TOPS for many years and was even elected the honor of

Area Captain at one point. She was a generous, caring mother and grandmother

and a loyal friend. She faced her battle with cancer with courage and grace and

is finally at peace. We love you mom; sister; grandma; great grandma and aunt.

Memorial services will be Monday, September 28th at 1 pm at Eternal Hills

Mortuary. A small reception will be held after the service at 5002 El Mirlo Dr

in Oceanside.
