Though we are unable to attend Nick's memorials, we hope that a priest from his beloved St. Margaret's Church will be able to be present. His Christian faith was always strong and really helped him to be upbeat, in spite of challenges that arose.

A special thank you to Renee and Richie for providing a supportive and loving home for Nick's final months. Every time that we spoke Nick expressed his happiness and gratefulness for both of you special people. It made me feel good to know that my special friend Nick was really happy in his new surroundings. I hope that I can speak with you so that I can express my thanks.

I always enjoyed talking with Nick and sharing memories. Anyone who met him became his friend. We first met Nick at our mall, which he went to every Sunday. Then we spoke by phone regularly.

We regret not being able to attend his viewing or graveside service due to health problems, which Nick would surely understand. It is great that he can now rest alongside his beloved late wife.

So sorry to hear of Nick's passing. I spoke with him not long before and he was in good spirits. It is comforting to know that he was happy living in his new home. Nick was lucky to have his memory and health even at his advanced age. Rest in peace.
