Paul Moden Mears, 66, of Vista, California, peacefully passed away on June 15, 2015 at the Care Meridian Center in Silverado, CA. Born October 1, 1948 to Abednego & Aline Mears, Paul was an accomplished disc jockey, talented mechanical engineer, impassioned Disney fan and a longtime claims adjuster for Farmers Insurance.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl, of Vista, CA; his two sons, David (Cathy) Mears of Oceanside, CA, Richard (Jolene) Mears of Kailua Kona, HI; two stepchildren, Candace (Bill) Hodgson of Rancho Cucamonga, CA & Gary Hirsch of Sacramento, CA; a sister, Aline (John) Hendricks of Escondido, CA; and five grandchildren and a niece.
A celebration of his life will take place in the spring of 2016, and his family request that in lieu of flowers, that condolences be sent in care of his wife.
