With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pedro Corona Estrella, who peacefully entered eternal rest on October 20, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on February 24, 1956, Pedro made his home in Escondido, California, where he built a life defined by love, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
Pedro was a man whose heart was as generous as his spirit. A talented and dedicated chef, he found his greatest joy in preparing meals that brought people together. For Pedro, cooking was more than a profession—it was his love language. Every dish he made was filled with warmth, care, and a desire to make others feel welcomed and loved.
Those who knew Pedro will remember his compassionate heart, his selfless nature, and his fierce loyalty. He was someone you could always count on, offering a helping hand without hesitation and standing beside those he loved through every season of life. His gentle sense of humor could brighten even the hardest days, filling rooms with laughter and leaving behind cherished memories. While he could be wonderfully stubborn at times, it was simply because he stood firmly by his values and the people he loved most.
In 1992, Pedro married the love of his life, Martha, and together they built a beautiful family centered on faith, love, and commitment. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Martha; his son, Huber; his daughter, Martha; four treasured grandchildren; Connie, Alejandro, Chris, and Alison and thirteen adored great-grandchildren, Joshua, Abigail, Karissa, Damian, Romeo, Alekzander, Rodrigo, Justus, Emilio, Talia, Mya, Jace, and Lucas. Pedro also lovingly raised Joshua as his own son, a beautiful reflection of his generous heart and his unwavering commitment to family. His love knew no boundaries, and anyone fortunate enough to be part of his family felt that love deeply.
Outside the kitchen, Pedro found peace in tending to his garden, where he lovingly cared for his flowers and plants, watching them grow with the same patience and devotion he gave to the people in his life. He also found joy in the timeless music of Vicente Fernández, whose songs reminded him of his heritage, his memories, and the simple beauty of life.
Above all, Pedro's greatest pride and deepest love was his family. They were the center of his world, and everything he did was to provide for, protect, and love them. His legacy is one of kindness, sacrifice, laughter, and unconditional love a legacy that will continue to live on through every life he touched.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Pedro is now at peace, free from pain, and reunited with those who went before him. His love will remain with us always, guiding us through our memories, our traditions, and the countless moments that remind us of the extraordinary man he was.
Forever loved. Deeply missed. Never forgotten.
Rest in peace, Pedro Corona Estrella. Your love will live in our hearts forever.
