Richie will be missed by his family and friends around the country, from the east coast to the west coast.
In New York he attended Nyack High School. He served two years in the United States Navy before moving to Vermont.
After a short time in Florida he then made his permanent home in San Diego. His career of 30+ years was in carpentry and construction, mainly in the north county area.
His craftsmanship is still evident in the many housing projects he worked on. Many of our own home projects were designed by Richie's skilled hands.
He took great pride in helping everyone build and be creative.
Richie loved the ocean and enjoyed fishing, skiing and traveling. His signature attire;
t-shirt, shorts and flipflops. His laughter and sense of humor were contagious and light hearted...and he always spoke his mind.
