Robert Anthony Santoro, beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 70.
Bob grew up in and around San Marino and Huntington Beach California, where he spent his younger years building the foundation of a life filled with family, music, sports, and memories that would stay with him throughout the years.
Bob had a lifelong love of music. He played both the piano and trumpet and proudly marched in his high school band. Music was a meaningful part of who he was, and those who knew him will remember the joy and personality he brought through his love of playing.
He was also an athlete and sports enthusiast. Bob played high school football and carried his love of sports throughout his life. But perhaps no sport held quite the same place in his heart as baseball. He was a devoted San Diego Padres fan and could always be counted on to proudly cheer, “Go Padres!”
Bob worked in accounting, building a career through dedication and hard work. But his greatest legacy will not be found in his career. It will be found in the people he loved and the memories he leaves behind.
Bob is survived by his children, Corinne (Michael), Andrea (Sam), and Geoffrey; his wife, Pam; and his stepchildren, Christina (Bryan), Christopher (Connie), and Michael (Alina). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Samuel, Alex, David, Kevin, Johdan, Derek, Kellin, and Gwenyth. He is lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Shanee.
His family will remember the many chapters of life they shared with him—the laughter, the conversations, the celebrations, the challenges, and the ordinary moments that become the most precious after someone is gone.
Robert leaves behind a family who will miss him deeply and a lifetime of memories that cannot be replaced.
His music may have gone quiet, but the memories of him will continue to play on.
And when the Padres take the field, there will always be someone watching and thinking of Robert.
Forever loved. Forever missed.

Visitation for Bob will be held Monday, September 21st from 4pm to 8pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary 1999 El Camino Real,Oceanside, CA 92054
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 1pm, followed by the burial and reception at Eternal Hills Mortuary 1999 El Camino Real Oceanside, CA 92054
