Robyn Bonfy Johnson 02.07.1970 – 08.27.2019 Born in Winfield Kansas to parents Richard and Paula Bonfy. Services for Robyn Bonfy Johnson will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019, 3:00PM, at Central Christian Church Mesa Campus, 933 N. Lindsay Road, Mesa, AZ, 85213.

Robyn went to Trinity Lutheran School and graduated Winfield High 1988. During and after high school Robyn worked at Maurice’s clothing in Winfield KS Graduated from Oklahoma State University 1996 BS Degree in Human Environmental Sciences and Design. After college Robyn purchased her grandmother’s house and lived in Ponca City OK. In 1999 Robyn married Thomas F. “Tom” Johnson and moved to Tulsa OK. Robyn worked at Steinmart Tulsa OK. In 2002 Robyn and Tom moved to Gilbert AZ and built a new house. In 2003 Robyn and Tom moved to Miami FL. (they kept the AZ house). Robyn worked at Niemen Marcus Bal Harbor FL. and enjoyed boating on the S. Florida inter coastal waterway. In 2005 Robyn and Tom moved back to their AZ home in Gilbert. Robyn worked for LA Weight loss. Robyn enjoyed riding her bicycle, boating on the local lakes in AZ and flying around the Western US in the small airplanes owned by Robyn and her husband. She always enjoyed occasional trips to the mid-west to see family and friends. In 2011 Robyn had a tumor removed and was diagnosed with breast cancer. In 2012 Robyn completed more breast surgery and supporting chemo - radiation treatments. In 2013 Robyn was declared cancer free. From 2012 through 2018 Robyn promoted and participated in over (25) relay for life cancer fund raising events. In 2016 Robyn moved from Gilbert AZ to Buckeye AZ. From 2016 to 2019 Robyn enjoyed spending time on her boat “Robyn the Bank” in Newport Beach and in San Diego California with her husband.

Robyn was preceded in death by her mother Paula Schmid Bonfy; her grandparents Paul and Faye Schmid and Quay and Margie Bonfy and her Aunt Wilma Roady (Marvin). Survivors include Robyn’s extended family: Father Richard Bonfy and step-mother Dolly Bonfy; Brothers: Paul Bonfy; Dane Bonfy (Oralia); Devon Bonfy (Eva); Joe Isaacson (Chasity); Jason Isaacson (Cynthia); Sister: Allison Isaacson; Step-daughters Tawny Johnson and Tina Ackerman.
