He took great pride in his grandchildren, Gregory Thompson and Emily Woodburn, and played a significant role in their lives.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Helen Hopkins; his daughter, Donna Burks, and her husband, Joe Kircher; grandchildren, Gregory Thompson (wife Amy Thompson) and Emily Woodburn; and great-grandchildren, Ryder and Kash Thompson. He will be reunited with his beloved daughter, Debra Burks Woodburn, and his four brothers.
