Rosemary Elizabeth Lingenfelter, 81, a forty-four year resident of Carlsbad, California passed away May 12, 2020, in her home with her family by her side. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA and received her art and teaching degree at Edinboro University in PA. Rosemary then moved to Honolulu, HI where she met her husband Wayne with whom she had her seven children Angela, Elizabeth, Erich, T.J., Stefan, Stefannie, and Francesca she also had 14 Grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren. She had a positive impact on many young lives as an art teacher in the Carlsbad Unified School District where she brought art to the kids and supported the performing arts with her beautiful production and set design. She was well known for her gardening abilities and her love of animals. Any stray or injured animal could find love and care at Rosemary's house. Far ahead of her time, she was always accepting of those that didn't fit in and taught that loving others was the most important thing anyone could do. She would remind everyone of Jesus's words to "love one another as I have loved you". Please remember her in these words.
