Ruth Sepulveda passed away peacefully on January 23, 2013 in El Centro, California. She was the youngest of 13 children born to Monica and Cirilo Perez on October 13, 1927 in Clemenceau, Arizona. Ruth spent her childhood in Fresno, California. In 1957, she met and married Joseph A. Sepulveda Jr. and they settled in Oceanside, Ca . One of her proudest accomplishments was getting her high school diploma later in life. She was our mother and our first influence of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will miss her greatly.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Joseph A. Sepulveda Jr. and daughter Christine Segura. Ruth is survived by her daughters Irene Herrera-Reynaud, Elizabeth Britton, Patricia and William Amidon, and her son Joseph and Gloria Sepulveda. She leaves behind grandchildren Frank and Ericka Herrrera, Monica Herrera-Pinaglia, David Hatcher, Angela and Kendra Segura, Tasha and Carlos Gonzales, William and Nicole Amidon, Elyse Amidon, Steven, Andrea, and Anthony Sepulveda, 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California. on Friday January 31, 2013 at 2:30pm. It is there that our beloved parents will be reunited. Until we meet again, we love you Mom.
