She was born in Westminster, Maryland, on July 25, 1947. Early in her career she worked as an educator, but for many years she was unable to work due to her various challenges. She resided in California for most of her adult life. Sandra never married or had children. She is survived by a sister and two brothers.
Despite her obstacles, she persevered and maintained a positive attitude. If you knew Sandra you would appreciate that she was intelligent, witty and compassionate. Regardless of her physical and financial limitations, she was always willing to help someone less fortunate. She was a member of the Self-Realization Fellowship and very spiritual. She firmly believed she would have a wonderful afterlife.
She will always be in our hearts and thoughts. No services are planned, but she will be laid to rest in Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Oceanside, California. We ask that you memorialize her in your own thoughts and prayers.
