Soledad was born in the Philippines on February 15, 1931. In December, 1959, she wed a United States Marine, Jerry La Salvia. They settled in Oceanside, California to raise their family.
Mrs. La Salvia was well-known for her generosity and kindness, as well as her cooking! Her hospitality was legendary: No one left her home on an empty stomach, and no one left her home empty-handed.
"Solita" also found joy in going to casinos, playing the slot machines, eating wonderful food, but loved her family most of all. She especially found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, as well as visiting with faraway relatives when they were in town.
Soledad will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The funeral service will be held at Eternal Hills' chapel in Oceanside, California.
