

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Tanisha Monet Ferrell. After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Tanisha peacefully departed this world on August 15, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 39 years old.
Born on September 16 1983, Tanisha's vibrant spirit and tenacious strength were an inspiration to all who knew her. Despite the challenges she faced, she never wavered in her determination to live life fully and embrace the beauty around her. With grace and courage, she faced her illness head-on, demonstrating a resilience that left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to share in her journey.
Tanisha leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion. She is survived by her most cherished creation, her daughter, who stands on the brink of her sixth birthday. Tanisha's nurturing spirit and boundless love will continue to guide her daughter's path, and the memories they crafted together will forever hold a place of honor in her heart.
She is also survived by her grieving parents, who supported Tanisha with an endless well of love and encouragement, and her brother, who shared a bond of friendship and camaraderie with her. Their memories together will provide solace and strength as they navigate this difficult time.
Tanisha's hobbies were a testament to her diverse passions. Crocheting intricate patterns, reading poetry that touched the soul, and immersing herself in the colorful world of anime were among her favorite pastimes. Her creativity and curiosity knew no bounds, reflecting the beauty of her unique spirit.

A memorial service in honor of Tanisha's life will take place on Friday, September 1st at 4:00 pm at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside. Her burial will take place on Saturday, September 2nd at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to breast cancer research in Tanisha's name, so that her legacy may contribute to finding a cure for this relentless disease.
