Most of her life was in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but joined her son's family in the San Diego area in February of 2002.
She was an author, telling her nursing experiences during World War II, called "White Cap and Prayer" and later revised to "Beyond Courage".
Teresa was a Franciscan, devoted to Jesus, Mary and Saint Francis of Assisi. She often was quoted "I want to go home" and now her wish is fulfilled. her son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, sister, and nieces miss her and wish her a wonderful journey home.
