Jovan’s humor, quick wit, and positive energy always lifted the spirits of everyone around him. He had no enemies. He chose laughter over gossip, encouragement over criticism. He was the kind of guy everyone gravitated towards—the life of any room, always making people feel seen and supported.
It was always a vibe around Jovan. This man would cook a full-course dinner at 230am for everybody in the house. All while listening to Mac Dre and doing a full stand-up comedic bit.
Jovan was a devoted father to his three kids. He was the fun dad—always with something in hand for his kids, always making sure they had more than enough. He coached his son’s basketball team and took pride in being their biggest supporter.
It’s with a heavy heart but also a smile that I say goodbye, knowing Jovan is in a better place, spreading his infectious energy and joy in heaven—just like he did here.
