

Vessie was the fifth of 11 children. She attended Biyson High School District, where she enjoyed playing sports, basketball and baseball.
In 1959 Vessie married her first husband, the love of her life, Wellie L. Anderson Sr. While in Arkansas they started a family. They had two beautiful daughters, Ida and Debra, before moving to San Diego, California for a new beginning.
In 1962, they were blessed to welcome a beautiful son, Wellie L. Anderson Jr.
During her early years in California, Vessie worked for city school district for several years. Thereafter she became a proud member of Eastern Star, later in life. Vessie returned back to school and earned a certificate in computer technology. Thereafter completing a computer technology program, she then graduated.
Thereafter in 2000 Vessie met Billy Prince; after dating and enjoying life together they decided to get married. Later Vessie and Billy reunited with their friends of Mason and Eastern star organization.
During the summer Vessie would join her siblings in vacation and attending their Lincoln High Class reunion and spending time with their baby sister in Star City Arkansas. They always had a blessed and joyful time. They would each attend for service years.
Vessie had 6 sisters and 5 brothers. She was preceded in death by her mother Sara Elizabeth and father Leory Baker, Sisters Marmie Bates, Rose Lockett, Verdell Brown, Redell William and Brothers, Leonard Baker, Samuel Baker. Son- Wellie L. Anderson Jr. and husband Billy Prince.
She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters Ida Anderson Taylor (Terry) and Debra Londo (Danny), Liz Lewis-Jones, 3 brothers Arthur Baker, Clarence Baker, Willie Baker, 11 grandkids, 17 great grandkids and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, and church family and friends.
